Barbara Woo attended Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in Nashville, Tennessee where she earned a Master of Science in Nursing specializing in Family Practice. She has been practicing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse since August 2021. Barbara began her nursing career in 1995 as a registered nurse. She is a lifelong learner and has continued to enhance her academic achievements. She is presently board certified in family practice, wound care, and hospice and palliative care. Barbara brings with her 20 plus years of experience working with pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics in a multitude of health care settings.
During Mrs. Woo’s career she has treated and medically managed many clients with both medical and behavioral health concerns. Most recently, Barbara enrolled at the University of Texas to pursue a Post Masters Certificate in Psychiatry and plans to obtain board certification in the coming year.
Barbara enjoys the field of nursing as it allows her the opportunity to help and care for many patients and their families. Her professional goals include enhancing the quality of life in her patients by providing complete assessments, developing an individualized plan of care, and providing current and up to date treatment management for the changing needs of her clients.
