Providers / Joy Welch LCSW

Joy Welch, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work and her Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies/Psychology both from the University of Houston. She completed her internship at UT Mental Sciences Institute. Ms. Welch has special training in Pregnancy and Adoption, Child Development, Domestic Violence, Group Therapy, and Family Therapy. Ms. Welch’s professional career of over 25 years includes work as a Parent Educator, Women’s Counselor and Executive Director in non-profit agencies, and as Director of Child & Adolescent Units and Adult Therapist with several psychiatric hospitals. Ms. Welch works with children ages 10+, teens, adults and seniors.
