Sherby John Guillory, LMSW, LCDC was born and raised in rural southern Louisiana in a framing family who were dedicated to instilling education and community service into their children. This spurred a love for the basic and hard science throughout his life and led him to studying and graduating from Louisiana State University-Eunice, Loyola University New Orleans, and Tulane University of Louisiana. While completing studies he was trained at New Orleans Adolescent Hospital, DePaul Tulane Behavioral Health Center, Odyssey House of Louisiana, and Acadian Hospital.

His dedication to community service and advocacy led him to public service with organizations such Legacy Community Health Service, University of Texas Harris County Psychiatric Center, Harris Center’s Neuro-Psychiatric Center at Ben Taub, and Memorial Hermann Psychiatric Response Team, as well as volunteering within the community for patient advocacy issues and programs.

He lives by the belief that, “Truth is rarely pure and never simple” Oscar Wilde. But in truth is where we have hope. He continues his mission of providing services to the community through WholeHealth PLLC as a therapist since 2018.
